What Is an Immigration Physical?
The U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) requires a comprehensive medical examination as part of the green card and adjustment of status process. This exam ensures that applicants meet the health standards for approval.
What to Expect
At your appointment, our physician will perform an evaluation including:
- Physical examination
- Blood tests (processed through an outside lab; included in our service fee)
- Vaccination record review
Once all lab results are received and your vaccination records are verified, your Form I-693 will be completed, signed, and sealed by the physician.
What to Bring
- Valid government-issued photo ID
- Medical history records (if available)
- Vaccination / immunization records
If any required vaccines are missing, you must obtain them at a local health department or pharmacy at your own cost before your form can be finalized. Vaccines are not provided at our clinic and are not included in the service fee.
Timeline
The process typically takes 1–2 weeks from your initial visit to receiving your completed, sealed Form I-693. The timeline may be longer if additional vaccines are needed.
Appointments & Walk-Ins
We welcome walk-ins at all four clinic locations. However, we recommend calling ahead to schedule an appointment for a smoother and faster experience.
