What Is an Immigration Physical?

A USCIS immigration medical exam — also called an I-693 exam — is a required part of the green card and adjustment of status process. It must be performed by a physician specifically designated by U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). Our physician is a certified civil surgeon authorized to conduct these exams and sign your Form I-693. See attached form:

As of November 2023, a properly completed I-693 is valid for two years from the date of the civil surgeon’s signature.
Immigration physicals are not covered by health insurance. We offer transparent, flat-rate pricing. Contact our office for current fees.
They are easily available in most chain pharmacies and the state health department. The cost of vaccines is seperate from the immigration physical exam price.
