Meet Our Professional Team

Annie Marshall, CFNP

Annie Marshall is a Family Nurse Practitioner with a big heart for patient care and a passion for helping people feel their best. A graduate of Walden University, Annie is dedicated to practicing evidence-based medicine with compassion and care. Originally from Raymond, Mississippi, she now lives in Byram with her husband and their sweet Shih Tzu, Chance. When she’s not in the clinic, Annie enjoys tennis, singing, cooking, and traveling, with a special love for soul food, the Jackson State University band, and Le’Andria Johnson. Her goal is simple—to help patients recover and feel supported every step of the way.

Pamela Martin, LPC

Pamela Martin is a Licensed Professional Counselor who believes encouragement can change lives. A proud graduate of Jackson State University, Pamela is passionate about helping people push through challenges and reach their breakthrough moments. She’s originally from Starkville, MS, and now lives in Byram with her husband, two children, and their energetic pitbull mix, Roc. A fan of football and basketball—especially the Philadelphia Eagles—Pamela also enjoys R&B music, shopping, and traveling. She loves connecting with people from all walks of life and making a positive, lasting impact through meaningful conversations.

Verena Valley, MD

Dr. Verena Valley is a physician who values curiosity, compassion, and lifelong learning. She earned her medical degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin and was inspired to become a doctor by her mother. Originally from Racine, Wisconsin, Dr. Valley comes from a close-knit family and shares her life with an animal-loving household that includes two horses, three dogs, and a cat. She enjoys Marquette basketball, country and soul music (especially Shaboozey), and a good Chick-fil-A meal. Her hobbies include solar energy, gardening, and photography, and she strives to deliver high-quality medical care with warmth and dedication.

Markeia Miller Bennett

Markeia Miller Bennett is a compassionate medical provider who believes access to quality healthcare should be available to everyone. A graduate of Alcorn State University, she was inspired to enter healthcare to bridge gaps for underserved communities. Markeia is married to Jeremy Bennett and is the proud mother of four—Kayla, Kynslei, Karter, and Kallie. Originally from Brookhaven, Mississippi, she enjoys soccer, listening to Beyoncé, and treating herself to filet mignon. Her favorite destination is Nassau, Bahamas, and her favorite part of being a provider is making a meaningful difference through compassion, healing, and advocacy.

Medical Marijuana Treatment Protocol

To qualify, patients must have at least one qualifying medical condition and a written certification issued by a healthcare practitioner with whom they have a bona fide relationship.
