Meet Our Professional Team

Annie Marshall, CFNP

Annie Marshall is a Family Nurse Practitioner with a big heart for patient care and a passion for helping people feel their best. A graduate of Walden University, Annie is dedicated to practicing evidence-based medicine with compassion and care. Originally from Raymond, Mississippi, she now lives in Byram with her husband and their sweet Shih Tzu, Chance. When she’s not in the clinic, Annie enjoys tennis, singing, cooking, and traveling, with a special love for soul food, the Jackson State University band, and Le’Andria Johnson. Her goal is simple—to help patients recover and feel supported every step of the way.

Demetria Reed, FNC-BC

Demetria Reed is a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner with over 16 years of experience dedicated to helping patients feel heard, valued, and cared for. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Mississippi Medical Center and believes in building lasting relationships while delivering care that supports the whole person. When she’s not in the clinic, she enjoys spending time with her family, participating in church activities, fishing, and traveling.  

Verena Valley, MD

Dr. Verena Valley is a physician who values curiosity, compassion, and lifelong learning. She earned her medical degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin and was inspired to become a doctor by her mother. Originally from Racine, Wisconsin, Dr. Valley comes from a close-knit family and shares her life with an animal-loving household that includes two horses, three dogs, and a cat. She enjoys Marquette basketball, country and soul music (especially Shaboozey), and a good Chick-fil-A meal. Her hobbies include solar energy, gardening, and photography, and she strives to deliver high-quality medical care with warmth and dedication.

Dr. Parvesh Goel, MD

Dr. Parvesh Goel is an experienced internal medicine physician and the founder of Magnolia Medical Clinics, a multi location practice serving communities across Mississippi. For more than two decades, he has provided personalized, comprehensive medical care, focusing on the management of both acute and chronic conditions and improving long-term patient outcomes. In addition to caring for patients, Dr. Goel oversees clinical operations across the practice and works closely with local hospitals and healthcare partners. He also serves as Medical Director of Madison County Nursing Home. Dr. Goel completed his Internal Medicine residency through Mount Sinai at Elmhurst Hospital Center in New York after receiving his medical training in New Delhi, India. Outside of medicine, Dr. Goel enjoys following the news, tracking the stock market, and spending time with his family. His wife helps manage the practice, and his two daughters are both successful healthcare professionals.

Caraline Walker

Caraline received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Mississippi College. She continued her education at the University of Southern Mississippi to earn her Master of Science in Nursing. Caraline specializes in family medicine and prides herself in treating patients with the utmost respect and listening to their concerns and needs.Caraline resides in Madison, MS with her husband, two sons and newborn daughter. When she is not at work, she enjoys spending time with her family and going to the beach.

Pamela Martin, LPC

Pamela Martin is a Licensed Professional Counselor who believes encouragement can change lives. A proud graduate of Jackson State University, Pamela is passionate about helping people push through challenges and reach their breakthrough moments. She’s originally from Starkville, MS, and now lives in Byram with her husband, two children, and their energetic pitbull mix, Roc. A fan of football and basketball—especially the Philadelphia Eagles—Pamela also enjoys R&B music, shopping, and traveling. She loves connecting with people from all walks of life and making a positive, lasting impact through meaningful conversations.

Medical Marijuana Treatment Protocol

To qualify, patients must have at least one qualifying medical condition and a written certification issued by a healthcare practitioner with whom they have a bona fide relationship. Patients must also apply to the health department (MDOH) for a registration card, which costs $25 (or less in some cases). The bill’s qualifying conditions are:
  • Cancer, Parkinson's, Huntington's, muscular dystrophy, glaucoma, spastic quadriplegia, HIV, AIDS, hepatitis, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), Crohn's, ulcerative colitis, sickle cell anemia, Alzheimer's, agitation of dementia, PTSD, autism, pain refractory to opioid management, diabetic/peripheral neuropathy, spinal cord disease, or severe injury;
  • A chronic medical condition (or its treatment) that produces either cachexia or wasting, severe nausea, seizures, severe and persistent muscle spasms, or chronic pain — which is narrowly defined as, “a pain state in which the cause of the pain cannot be removed or otherwise treated, and which in the generally accepted course of medical practice, no relief or cure of the cause of the pain is possible, or none has been found after reasonable efforts by a practitioner;” and
  • Conditions approved by the MDOH, after a petition process.
  • ID cards expire after one year unless practitioners specify an earlier date.
  • Patients between 18-23 generally must have written certifications from two different practitioners from separate medical practices to qualify. (There is an exception for those who registered before they were 18 and the homebound.)
  • Patient must bring medical records from their previous/other medical provider for the visit.
